What is a red screen used for?
A solid red screen helps you find dead or stuck red sub-pixels, works as a dim night light that's easier on dark-adapted eyes, and makes a quick party or mood light.
How to make your screen red
- Click Full screen (or click the color box, or press F).
- Your whole screen turns red. The controls and mouse cursor hide after a couple of seconds.
- Use ← → to switch colors without leaving full screen.
- Press Esc, double-click, or tap Exit to go back.
Tip: turn your display brightness up for a stronger light. While full screen is open, the site asks your device to keep the screen awake.
